It also says published prices target a common job scenario and can be inspected in detail. The estimator still needs to decide whether the selected item, quantity, components, and assumptions fit the documented project.

What inputs should we send?

Start with the available scope, photographs, sketches or measurements, reports, job notes, invoices or bids, project conditions, and any existing estimate-related correspondence. RSR will identify additional information needed for the engagement.

Can RSR estimate from photographs alone?

Sometimes photographs can support part of the scope, but they may not establish dimensions, concealed conditions, method, quantity, or every required component. RSR will identify the assumptions and missing inputs rather than invent project facts.

Does using Xactimate guarantee payment?

No. Software choice does not determine coverage, acceptance, or payment. The objective is a detailed estimate that accurately represents the available project information.

What if an estimate already exists?
